We did a little work, a little play, and a little bit of learning on Mt. Hood, Oregon. Snowboarding was so sick!!!! especially since we've been mourning the end of winter for a couple of months now. Oh yes, that little bit of snow up there, that's where we shredded some spring slush. It's great to live in an area where you can still board in the middle of July! Oh and that's a picture of the moon through a telescope, if you didn't recogize that round object.

Have you read the great story about us on NW Asian Weekly? Our mission statement gives a brief of what we do, but the article encapsulates the foundation of Questkids and the journey that has happened so far. Often times companies get mired in money and power, but we'll always stay true to our roots and keep our word on always giving back to kids. Below is a picture of Taylor (in pink), the true inspiration behind our company. Click here to read the full story.

Sorry for being MIA these past couple of days, but we were having fun meeting and greeting all the lucky parents who attended our super sale over at the Kent street fair. Honestly the feeling of euphoria comes to mind when we were chopping it up with kids, parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents and even teens.
At our booth, we brought out our silk screening eqipment, letting kids customize their own shirts, we had a mini dance party and we were giving out Esko stickers. We feel the love! Thanks for all of the support!
To all the parents, send a picture with your kid wearing our gear to binh@questkids.com and we will post it on our blog.

Here is a behind the scenes video of our recent photoshoot. The location was perfect and there wasn't even one sprinkle rain. We had kids representing from different cultures and each one looked great in our fall collection. We can't wait for our fall collection to hit stores in September!

A sneak peek of our new commercial.

The morning of our videoshoot started off cloudy and by the middle of shoot, it was raining. We thought the weather might deter people from coming out, but nope, our main kids showed up with great spirits! The rain did, however, add a great effect to the video. Seattle is home to rain.
Thanks to the Electric Bubbles team (they also shot our Seattle Chamber video), Nicolle Rae Steiger (great photographer), and of course the kids and adults in the video!
This weekend we are having a photoshoot at Garfield High School. Come out and support us. We'll set up a little tent for parents and kids to mingle and munch on goodies.

Guess what we bought today...a Canon EOS Rebel T2i Digital SLR Camera. This camera takes great pictures and even has an advanced HD Movie mode for gorgeous Full HD movies. We'll use this camera for our blog, photoshoots, and even create mini videos. Check out this shot we took by Seward Park.

Yesterday started out as another overcast morning in Seattle. As I was walking toward the shop, the Deli Boutique shop was preparing for their 1 year anniversary party. To my surprise, as I entered the doors the boutique looked more like alley way.
The new build-out was amazing fitted with brick walls, graffiti tags and even a dumpster. Once again Max Heigh, owner of Deli transformed his shop into a new concept. I am blessed to live in a city where so many creative ideas are happening and to have Deli support our clothing line!

You'll probably notice slight changes to our website. We are always finding different ways to be creative with our web designs!

Memorial weekend was a blast for the Questkids team. We had a homie visit us from WA D.C. for the week. Esko and the team took the Seattle newbie to Elbe, WA to enjoy the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad. The next day we kicked it in Vancouver B.C. where we meandered through Granville Island, explored Stanley Park, jumped on the Capilano Suspension Bridge and took pictures on Vancouver Lookout. Tip-when you head through the border, head into the visitor's center where you can get discounts for tourist attractions.

If you didn't go to University District Street Fair on May 15th or 16th then you missed out on a big Questkids party. We had tons of hip parents and cool kids buy our t-shirts, crewnecks and hoodies. The sun was shining on our backs and the best of reggae music was playin' a couple of booths down. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect weekend. Don't worry; we'll do one more fair before the summer ends. Questkids will be at the Kent Cornucopia Days 2010 from July 8-10 in Kent, WA. Mom and dad, we'll have the same great deals or even better so get your kids cool nice gear!
Check out all the fun we had below.

We won! A couple of weeks ago Questkids entered into the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce's video contest. During their Annual Tradeshow, they announced us as the winner! It threw me by surprise since I thought the other two videos were as equally as good. We would like to give a big thanks to the Seattle Chamber of Commerce, Microsoft, Electric Bubbles (Chris Williams, Christopher Coleman and Jonte Ausler), my best buddy and the Chan Fam for the success of the video. Check out the video below.
